Spent today in school (no children as we were taking our bonus day celebrating 60 years of one queen - thank you ma'am. My life runs a bit parrallel to her job - I was two days old when I saw her coronation on TV but her employemnt seems to be dated from when her dad died, rather than that date).

Stripped a wall and put this poster in the middle (about a metre wide - took a photo but that camera is in school)

 

Made new work books for the class.

Toworrow we are going to do some science looking at how to measure the suitablity of trainers for running and turning quickly (friction) and then do some art work on firstly observational drawing of footwear and then design work on fantasy footwear, maybe using this.

The children don't know where all this is going - not sure I have a much better idea!
